For 2026 the organizers of Clotech and Clotech-Body-Interaction conferences agreed to joint these two events into one joint event. In order to intensivate the scientific exchange between the experts of different areas and in order to reduce the travel costs and travel time of the scientists. 

====== About the Clotech Confernce ======
The CLOTECH – organized every 2 years – is focused on the popularization of achievements of the worldwide scientific institutions in a range of directions for innovation and development of protective clothing, gloves and footwear, smart textiles and clothing, computer techniques in designing and making up clothing, mass customization and rapid prototyping, marketing and competitiveness of textiles in the European market, standardization and certification of textiles and clothing.

The first CLOTECH conference was organized in 2003 (on the national scale only). In 2008 the CLOTECH conference gained the status of an international event and from this time successfully continue the communication in science and industry

====== About the Clothing-Body-Interaction Conference ======

The International Conference Clothing-Body Interaction 2021 and 2023 were organized by the teams of Prof. Dr.-Ing. habil. Yordan Kyosev, Chair of Assembly Technology for Textile Products, ITM, TU Dresden, Germany; Prof. Dr. Lukas Capek, Department of the Technologies and Structures, Technical University Liberec and Regional Hospital in Liberec, Czech Republic and the team of Instituto de Biomécanica (IBV), Universitat Politècnica de València, VALENCIA, Spain.
It aims to provide a platform for the exchange between the researchers and industrials in the area of the complex interactions between the human body and clothing.
The engineering development of textile products requires application of interdisciplinary approaches in order to satisfy the high requirements in several areas. The deep analysis of a “standard topic” like the comfort of daily clothing requires knowledge and consideration of heat and moisture transfer, body metabolism, air gap between body and clothing, body deformations during the motion, moisture absorbtion of the textile layers. For functional clothing, additional interactions of acting mechanical, chemical or other forces are coming. The conference provides unique platform for exchange between the leading experts, researchers and companies in the areas of these interactions.
